How to Report a Bus Behavior Concern

This article explains how families can report student behavior concerns that occur on a school bus.

Reporting a Concern

Behavior concerns should be reported through your student’s school administration.

To help ensure a prompt and thorough review, please include:

  • The bus number or route

  • The student’s school

  • The date of the incident

  • The approximate time

  • A clear description of what occurred

Important

Reports are reviewed and addressed promptly. Depending on the situation, school administration and transportation staff may:

  • Review driver reports

  • Speak with students

  • Review available video footage

  • Take appropriate disciplinary action

Student safety and maintaining a respectful bus environment are top priorities.

Summary

If you have concerns about student behavior on the bus, report the issue to your student’s school administration with as much detail as possible. Providing accurate information allows CCPS to review and address concerns efficiently.
